(WWJ) Charges are pending against a young Oakland County woman pulled over while driving on the wrong side of the road.
Troy Police spotted the woman at around 1:30 a.m. on New Year's Day, driving a white Lincoln MKX eastbound on E. Big Beaver Road in the westbound lanes.
When she turned onto southbound Rochester Road, police made a traffic stop.
The 18-year-old Bloomfield Township resident said she was unfamiliar with the area and was looking to buy some food for her friends. As she was speaking with the officer she was slurring her words, police said, and her eyes were glassy.

Once she was arrested and handcuffed, police said the woman then confessed that she'd had three alcoholic drinks.
A 19-year-old passenger in the car, also from Bloomfield Hills, said she hadn't been drinking, but then blew a .159% on a breath test, police said, She was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol - second offense, which is a misdemeanor, and was taken to the police station where she called for a ride home.
The driver was taken to police lockup where she agreed to take a blood test. Results are pending.
