So far, U.S. Capitol Police have made four arrests related to the “Justice for J6” rally in Washington D.C.

The rally, scheduled for noon Saturday, was organized in support of people who were charged for participating in the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Participants in the Jan. 6 riots protested the 2020 presidential election results.

According to police, a man with a handgun has been charged with unlawful activities after being spotted by someone in the crowd.

He was spotted by a witness around 1:30 p.m. As of 3 p.m., it was unclear why the man was at the event.

Police also stopped a vehicle along Louisiana Avenue and arrested two people for felony extraditable warrants out of Texas, one for Possession of a Firearm and another for a probation violation.

Another man with a knife was arrested for a weapons violation.

While around 700 were predicted to attend the rally, police said that there were around 400 to 450 people in the protest area as of 2 p.m. Civil Disturbance units were out to keep rally attendees and counter protesters from each other.

WTOP reporters also said there was disturbance near the rally stage.
