The Kansas City Chiefs weren’t the only winners last night, as fans shared their love for several Super Bowl ads that featured clever ideas and numerous celebrity cameos.

Every year companies look to make a splash with advertising by purchasing the nearly $7 million 30-second slots for Super Bowl commercials. Whether it be this year’s clever concepts or nostalgic recreations, many shared their love for the breaks in the action.

Several ads this year hit home the concept of recreating loveable pop culture moments.

This included the shopping site Rakuten recreating Alicia Silverstone’s iconic “Clueless” character Cher for their spot; the chip brand Pop Corners bringing back the best TV meth cooks for a “Breaking Bad” reunion; and even Ben Stiller and Steve Martin briefly appearing as some of their iconic roles in a couple of Pepsi spots.

One of the most talked about ads on social media was for the free movie and TV steamer Tubi, which went to fake out Super Bowl viewers by making them think the game had come back on, but someone had changed the channel to watch Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s iconic “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”

Several movies made a splash by showing trailers for the first time. Warner Brothers next big superhero film, “The Flash,” had its first trailer drop, and fans of 'Indian Jones' also got to see a sneak peek at Disney’s next film in the franchise.

Speaking of Disney, the company ran a 90-second commercial for its upcoming 100th anniversary, honoring fans and creators for making the magic happen. However, some were critical of the pricey decision, being that the company announced layoffs of thousands of employees last Wednesday.

T-Mobile ran a couple of spots with the more praised featuring Bradley Cooper and his mother attempting to read lines for the ad.

Some less-loved ads included a Blue Moon spot, which also appeared to be an ad for Miller Lite and Coors Lite, before closing on a pint of Blue Moon; a Planter’s commercial featuring a roast of Mr. Peanut; and a Booking.com ad that saw Melissa McCarty singing about going on vacation.

Whether you loved or hated them, the commercials always provide a water-cooler talk for post-Super Bowl Monday, and this year’s batch offered a wide variety of styles, celebrities, and ideas.
