It's still more than three months away, but a trio of Michigan football players are already looking forward to their next clash with Michigan State.
"That's at little bro stadium this year," fifth-year defensive lineman Rayshaun Benny told reporters Monday at Michigan's annual Champions Circle Golf Classic.
When asked to identify "little bro," senior defensive end Derrick Moore said, "We ain’t even gotta say that name, they know who they is."
At that, grad transfer from Clemson Tre Williams, another defensive lineman, chimed in and said, "Little bro in East Lansing, we’ll put it like that. You know what I’m saying, go to little bro’s crib in East Lansing, pop out, it’s going to be a good time, feel me, Maize and Blue only."
That prompted Moore to remove the belt from his shorts and start smacking the ground with it, as the other two mimicked the motion and Williams cried, "Belt all to they behind, gang!"
The Wolverines have won three straight in the rivalry for the first time since winning five straight from 2002-07. Their last trip to Spartan Stadium was indeed a whipping, as Michigan won 49-0.
