The total number of cases of coronavirus that has been confirmed by testing in Louisiana rose by 178 today, to 763.
There have been 20 deaths.
418 cases are in New Orleans. Jefferson Parish reported 166 cases and 22 are in St. Tammany Parish.
Twenty people have died. Fifteen of them were Orleans Parish resident. Three are from Jefferson, and one each from Catahoula and St. James parish. That's an increase
The Health Department said there were four additional deaths reported Satruday evening, "The deaths of an 83-year-old Orleans Parish resident, a 50-year-old Orleans resident, a 77-year-old Jefferson Parish resident and a 90-year-old Orleans Parish resident were reported. All aside from the 83-year-old individual had underlying medical conditions. "
