Another hot and humid day with scattered thunderstorms popping up throughout the evening.
WWL-TV’s Payton Malone says, “Expect another hot and humid day with heat index values over 100 for most areas. We will see a few popup showers and t-storms this afternoon and into the evening. A few could be strong with high winds and small hail. If you get stuck under one of these storms it could produce localized flooding.”
