Less sun are even higher temps are expected this week.
"We start the work week with clouds and warmer weather on Monday. Temperatures will climb well into the 70s during the afternoon," WWL TV Meteorologist Alexandra Cranford forecasts.
She says there could be a few isolated showers.
"It'll warm to near 80 degrees on Tuesday, and some scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible especially late in the day."
Cranford says the best rain chances this week are on Wednesday.
"Wednesday is the main day for rain as a low pressure area swings in and a cold front arrives."
She warns that a few of the storms on Wednesday could be strong with high wind gusts or maybe an isolated tornado.
