Cool and less humid today, possible severe weather for Easter Sunday

weather

Cool and less humid today but an increased chance of severe weather on Easter Sunday could bring tornadoes, hail and damaging winds.

WWL-TV’s Dave Nussbaum says, “It looks like we will have a line of storms moving through that could produce damaging winds of 60-70+ mph, large hail, and some strong tornadoes.  The best chance for severe weather will be across the Northshore as storms develop there and race to the NE.  These storms are the ones that could produce tornadoes and then they strengthen once they move into Mississippi where the more unstable air will be located.”
