Cops want help identifying Uptown car burglary suspects

New Orleans police are try to solve a string of car break-ins Uptown.

"The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subjects after their alleged involvement in multiple vehicle burglaries," according to a news release.

It happened over a series of different nights.

"On November 10, 2019 between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., multiple vehicle burglaries occurred in the 1200 block of Jefferson Avenue."

During that series of crimes the suspects were driving around in a stolen silver Highlander.

"On November 18, 2019 around 12:39 a.m., multiple vehicle burglaries were reported in the 5800 block of Hurst Street. The reporting person told police that a black sedan, possibly a Lexus, with tinted windows and no license plate, occupied by four to five black males was utilized to commit the burglaries."

There were also several vehicle burglaries in the 5600 block of Prytania Street.

"Four unknown subjects were allegedly using a dark colored sedan to commit vehicle burglaries."

Cops ask people who recognize the suspects or know anything about the crimes to call in tips.
