UPDATE: Police say they have located the woman pictured
New Orleans Police are looking for a woman they say they think can help them solve a murder.
"NOPD officers are seeking assistance from the public in locating Julita Thomas (DOB: 01/01/1972), who is believed to have information regarding a Fifth District homicide," according to a news release.
Detectives say the killing happened on August 12, 2019 around 2:45 a.m.
"Officers responded to reports of a shooting in a parking lot, located in the 3100 block of St. Claude Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS."
Police say that Thomas is not wanted in this incident.
"However, investigators would like to interview her for more information."
