Controversial Apostolic Life Tabernacle preacher Dr. Tony Spell has again held services for more than 2,000 in defiance of the social distancing order in place.
Spell told Reuters on Friday "Satan and a virus will not stop us.”
He also proclaimed, “God will shield us from all harm and sickness. We are not afraid."
Other churches put measures in place to protect congregants from contracting COVID-19.
Hosting drive-in services or on-line streaming of praise and worship.
But, Spell, the 42-year-old Evangelical defiantly ignores federal and state social distancing measures.
He says he holds services in order to lay his hands on his parishioners - something he said he couldn't do livestreaming.
