The latest COVID 19 numbers from the Lousiana Department of health show the number of new cases increased by 882 at 52477.
There were 18-deaths statewide. Locally, New Orleans saw 39 new cases and no deaths overnight.
Meanwhile the number of people hospitalized dropped by 15 to 631 with six less people on ventilators for a count of 77.
