An 18-wheeler driver ended up in a tight spot this afternoon, and eventually had to back out of it.
The rig was trying to take the corner at Chartres and St. Peters streets, but the driver could negotiate the narrow streets and historic buildings, taking several attempts at trying to round the corner without hitting the Cabildo.
This video posted to the WWL-TV Facebook page ends with the tractor-trailer backing out down Chartres. The driver ended up with a citation from NOPD.
