Instead of re-naming the I-10 between Mississippi and Texas the "Who Dat Nation Highway," welcome signs at the state lines coming in to Louisiana will read "Home of the Who Dat Nation," under a bill now working it's way through the legislature.

The Advocate reports that Sen. Wesley Bishop's (D-New Orleans) modified his bill after he learned the U.S. government had already designated the entire length of I-10 as Blue Star Highway, in tribute to the nation's veterans.

Said Bishop, "I did not what to affect that whatsoever."

Bishop's original bill would have cost the state $3,360, according to its fiscal note. Instead, modifying the existing welcome signs, plus adding a similar sign on the Superdome exit on the I-10 in New Orleans, will cost less.
