Hundreds of people turned out for the memorial service and second line celebration of the late Art Neville Tuesday.
Family, friends and fans gathered to say farewell to the founding member of The Neville Brothers and The Meters.
Art Neville was 81 years old when he died last week.
He founded The Meters in 1965 and defined the sound of New Orleans funk.
Twelve years later, he joined with his brothers to form The Neville Brothers.
Heavy rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd outside the funeral home as they danced, sang and played music in honor or Art Neville.
