Accident investigators are working a crash in Avondale from last night.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office the wreck took place on Pat Drive near Dialita in a housing development at around 10:30pm.
Deputies arriving on scene say it appears a Chevy Trailblazer, with four people aboard, crashed into a parked car then ran into a tree.
One person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other three are all being treated at a hospital for injuries.
The identity of the single victim remains unknown pending notification of family.
