A middle school teacher arrested last year on possession of child pornography charges now faces charges he molested an underage boy, NOLA.com reports. A Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office civilian employee also faces charges.
Willie Moses of Harvey, formerly a teacher at Tom Benson Middle School in Kenner, is booked with molestation, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and other charges. Moses was arrested on a possession of child pornography charge a little over a year ago.
Terry Stewart, who worked in the 911 center for the sheriff's office, is accused of failure to report a felony in connection with the case. A sheriff's office spokesman said Stewart was fired shortly after the department learned of his arrest.
