New data from Google’s Community Mobility Report is out and it shows more people in St. John the Baptist Parish are beginning to take Governor John Bel Edward’s orders to stay home, more seriously.
Two COVID-19 testing sites have moved out of New Orleans in region 1 and into St James and St. John Parishes which make region 3. The Louisiana Department of Health reports 48 coronavirus deaths and 562 confirmed cases in St. John Parish. St. James Parish currently has 11 deaths and 207 cases. There are now, confirmed cases of the virus in all of Louisiana’s 64 parishes.

Google’s report, tracked cell phone GPS data from Sunday, February 23 through Sunday, April 5.
The report breaks down into six categories, Retail/Recreation, Grocery/Pharmacy, Transit Stations, Workplace, Parks and Residential locations.
