We are still on the lookout for some possible heavy storms coming this evening, into the overnight hours. "The system that's moved through Texas is now heading our way," said your local weather expert, WWL-TV meteorologisy Jay Galle. "It has been producing some hail and some strong gusty winds."
Sometime after 7 p.m. the wind will pick up and the rain will begin.
There could also be some flash flooding and is worth watching.
The rain may last at least through tomorrow with some lingering showers and then drying out by Tuesday.
