Easter weekend starts off kind of muggy.
"It's going to be warm and humid today with temperatures in the 80s and breezy," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "Plan for some hit-or-miss showers and storms throughout the afternoon and evening."
Alexa says some of the storms could be heavy enough to cause localized street flooding, particularly north of Lake Pontchartrain.
"We'll see some more showers and storms early on Easter Sunday morning. We should be dryer tomorrow afternoon," she said.
Highs on Sunday will be in the 70s with plenty of breeze.
