Dust off that umbrella, Storms will bring heavy rain today and through the weekend.
WWL-TV’s Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “We will have more active weather today as an upper-level disturbance/wave moves over us. It will be warm and humid with highs in the lower 80s, so the atmosphere will be unstable. As the disturbance moves over us we will have scattered to numerous showers and storms. Some storms could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain.”
