A total of 3,467 new COVID-19 cases highlight Sunday's count from Louisiana Department of Health.
That makes the two-day average of just slightly above 1700.
Hospitalizations have dropped by 12 to 1,534 and the number of people on ventilators went down by 1. But given the importance placed on hospital beds, any drop in numbers is welcomed.
In all, there are 119,747 cases of COVID-19 reported since LDH started keeping track.
There are 74,246 who presumably have recovered.
A total of 58 new deaths from coronavirus have been recorded, bringing the full count to 3,893.
