Police in Kenner say they have locked up a woman who tried to steal items at a self check out.
"KPD officers arrested 47-year-old Tia Haskins after she entered a Kenner business and proceeded to skip-scan several items," the department said in a post.
The woman from Long Beach, Mississippi allegedly only scanned and paid for one item; but placed several in her bag.
"She then attempted to leave the store with the unpaid merchandise."
The post says that "𝙗𝙪𝙮 𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩" is not an approved checkout option.
Police took her into custody.
"This was not an isolated incident, as she is also linked to six additional shoplifting cases at businesses across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Nevada.
Cops booked her into jail.
