Where will it go and how strong will it get? Those are just a few of the questions being asked about the Invest 92, which will gradually move south and out of Georgia over northern Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico.
Forecasters are busy tracking this area of low pressure which is expected to pick up more steam.
Tim Erickson, with the National Weather service, says it could become a tropical depression but they'll need more time to make that call.
"This thing will have plenty of energy to continue going, as it moves to the west, we do expect rainfall and we should be pick up anywhere from three inches to the north of the area to eight inches on the coast," Erickson said. "The circulation is just getting started over land, we expect it to move farther south in a slow process."
