The first overall pick in the NBA Draft has officially signed his contract with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Based on the NBA rookie scale, Zion Williamson should earn between $8.1 million and $9.8 million for the first year.
He is expected to make around $45 million over four years.
The Pelicans said, however, "Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed."
The 6'7", 285 pound former Duke star was the unanimous college player of the year.
He won the Associated Press, Sporting News, National Association of Basketball Coaches and United States Basketball Writers Association player of the year honors.
Williamson also won the Naismith Award and John R. Wooden Award.
Only two other freshman have won AP Player of the Year honors.
The others were Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis.
