The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival today announced that they will refund in full all general admission tickets for May 2. Tickets for that day originally sold for a premium, owing to a once-in-a-lifetime appearance by The Rolling Stones. Now that the Stones had to cancel their tour, patrons are getting their money back.

Refunds will be made at their initial purchase point. If the ticket was bought online via Ticketmaster, then the refund will come automatically from Ticketmaster. If the ticket was purchased at the Smoothie King Center box office, then refunds will be issues there.

People who bought tickets via a third party must seek refunds from that third party.

Jazz Fest 2nd Weekend VIP passes purchased through Ticketmaster are still valid for all four days. Purchasers will receive a partial refund through Ticketmaster.
