Out of caution over the spreading coronavirus, Jefferson Parish Schools will no longer hold in-person parent-teacher conferences on March 16. The school system says instead, they will encourage parents to talk with their child’s teachers through email or by phone.
School administrators say parents can find teachers’ contact information on their school’s website.

This is the latest measure Jefferson Parish schools are taking to protect their students and the community. Schools also are postponing large scale assemblies, and all in-state and local field trips until further notice.
