New Orleans Police say a man who didn't want to leave the hospital turned violent last Sunday night.
"The suspect was being discharged from the location and refused to leave," according to an initial police report. "When the victim attempted to escort the suspect out, he produced a knife and stabbed the victim."
It happened around 11:30pm at Touro.
"The suspect was detained and arrested on scene."
The victim was treated for his injuries, but the report did not say how severe the wounds were; nor the victim's condition.
