The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office investigates a homicide in Bridge City.
A JPSO report says it happened just before 11:00 p.m. last night in the 100 block of 9th Street.
Officers responding to a call of gunshots in that area found bullet casings but no victim. They later got a call of a gunshot victim showing up at a hospital. The reports says, “That victim was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm and side. A second victim was located in a vehicle in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. That victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. Our investigators believe the victims were shot in the 100 block of 9th Street and drove to the hospital.”
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
