The latest coronavirus numbers show there 315 new cases over night in Louisiana, that’s up from 280 on Saturday.
Locally, Orleans and Jefferson Parishes report a total of 85 new cases with three deaths attributed to the infection in Jefferson Parish.
In all 12 people succumb to the disease from Saturday's to Sunday's report.
The State reports a total of 34,432 cases and 2,425 deaths since the outbreak began in March.
Statewide, there are more than one-thousand people hospitalized with the virus, more than 110 on ventilators.
Jefferson Parish continues to pull ahead of Orleans Parish with more than 7,000 reported cases to Orleans about 6,800.
