Don't get your hopes up, Who Dat Nation, about legal action forcing the NFL to replay the final two minutes of the NFC Championship Game. A legal expert says he just doesn't see that happening.
"We all need to get therapy and you know, just get past it," said legal analyst Doug Sunseri, who says trying to legally force the league to replay the closing minutes of Sunday's game just won't happen.
"It's just symbolic, it has zero shot," he said.
Sunseri said he had people calling him asking if there were any legal recourse, but he just doesn't see how fans have any standing. And he thinks despite attorney Frank D'Amico Jr. insisting his lawsuit is not a publicity stunt, he isn't sure it could be viewed as anything but that.
"I would be scared to file something like that because I'm afraid I might get sanctioned for it," Sunseri laughed. But he does say it at least allows for some venting of frustration, even if it's likely to go nowhere.
