Dental clinics in Louisiana are now closed.
Louisiana’s Department of Health issued a release to all dental providers in Louisiana, saying the LDH is “committed to taking critical steps to ensure public health and safety to prevent the spread of COVID-19.” The notice says all providers of dental services, including dentists and dental hygienists will close and the LDH prohibits non-essential dental visits and all routine, non-essential dental procedures and surgeries for the next 30 days from March 18 to April 16.
Dental clinics will notify clients and families of the closures.
