Opening Monday are the Boomtown New Orleans on the Harvey Canal, Treasure Chest Casino at Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, and two truck stop casinos, Westbank Truck Stop in Westwego and Casino 90 West in Avondale are opening for business at 8am.
Other small casino and poker/slot machine houses will likely be opening as well if they have been certified as compliant by the Gaming Control Board of Louisiana.
