Louisiana sees 218 new COVID-19 cases

Louisiana health officials today reported 61 more coronavirus deaths, bringing the state total to 1,758.

The number of cases in the state state increased by 218.  


Analyst Jeff Asher says that is the lowest number since March 21st.

There are now 27,286 COVID-19 cases in Louisiana.

There are 17 fewer hospitalizations today and 18 fewer people on ventilators.
