
A group of high school dancers from Monroe appeared on The Today Show with former WWL-TV anchor Hoda Kotb.
The Bengal Belles from Neville High School strutted their stuff during the show's 8 a.m. hour. The students had just planned on holding signs outside the Today Show set, but the ever-gregarious Kotb invited them to show off their moves:
"Choppa Style," the title track from New Orleans rapper Choppa's debut album in 2002, became a hit again last year thanks to it being prominently featured in the New Orleans Saints' locker room victory celebrations.
