Tomorrow night, the number 6 ranked LSU Tigers face off against number 9 Texas in Austin, and a big game for the Tigers.  We saw how well they played against Georgia Southern last week.  Can they do the same on the road against an opponent ranked in the top 10?

Tiger fans say they can.

"We might finally have something to work on, so I'm not worried about them," said one Tiger fan who did say what really matters is if they can beat Alabama later on.

"Well, my mother would hate me if I said anything bad about the Tigers," one lady laughed.  "They are looking a lot better than last year, and hey, it's always good to see an SEC team win."

This man loves the look of the new Tiger offense."That offense is a pro-style offense, spread it out, and something we haven't had in a long time," he said.  "It's going to be the difference maker."

Do you like the LSU Tigers chances against a very good Texas Longhorn football team?"Every scheme, every play that I've seen, we look like we are going through the motions and got it all figured out," one worker downtown said.  "We have a well-rounded team this year and that's really nice to see."

"I feel like it's going to be a close one so I'm thinking they'll win by a touchdown, maybe a field goal," another lady said.  "I think it's going to be a fight until the end."

Pregame coverage begins at 4:30.  Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow night here on WWL.
