The forecast today puts the "sun" in Sunday.
"We'll have plenty of sunshine today," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "It will be nice and mild with temperatures in the 70s this afternoon."
Alexa says we will wake up Monday morning to lows in the 50s south of the lake, and north of the lake will have spots in the 40s.
During the week, high temperatures will warm up into the 80s by Tuesday.
Rain and storms could arrive Wednesday and Thursday.
