Cops say a shooting at a hotel on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie has left a man dead.
It happened at the Evergreen Plaza Inn on Vets near I-10.
"Male victim with life-threatening injuries transported to University Hospital," JPSO said in a notification to the media.
It happened around 6:00pm.
"Deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting at the location. A male victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital," Captain Jason Rivarde said in a new release.
