The Mandeville Police Department is looking for a man it says flashed a badge and claimed to be a Mandeville cop after becoming irate when he encountered a locked gas station bathroom.
Police say it happened at the Discount Zone on Hwy. 22. According to police, the man seen in the photo here demanded to be let into the bathroom, and then showed an unknown badge and identified himself to the cashier as a Manedville Police Officer.
A witness tells WWL-TV the suspect urinated on the owner's vehicle when he did not get what he wanted.
Police say this man does not work for Mandeville Police, and they are hoping someone can help them identify him. If so, they are asked to contact Mandeville Police at (985) 624-3119.
