Are folks in New Orleans worried at all about the disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico?  Some folks we talked to say they are a bit concerned, and a little leery.

"I am concerned but we're just waiting to see what happens," said one female worker.  "We've been through this before."

"This (storm) ought to be a baby," this man laughed.  "As long as it moves, because if it stalls, then we're in trouble."

This woman said she was concerned because the rains and flooding came so much earlier on Wednesday than the storm itself.  "I was very concerned and really nervous because it's not what we are familiar with, and when mother nature's involved, there are no rules," she noted.

"I'm very concerned but I think that I don't know if it's over-exaggerated, but I think by 3 or 4 this afternoon the sun possibly could be out," this man said.  "That's just New Orleans weather.  "You don't know because it just changes."

"I'm not really concerned because I have insurance and if it's heading this way, I'm heading in another direction," another woman said.

"I'm a little worried, considering I have boats working in the Gulf and property down in Golden Meadow, so I'm standing by," one man told us.

Most people said they are just waiting to see what happens next and it's just too early to tell.
