The Krewe of Caesar will stop parading in Jefferson Parish.
"The membership does not want to go on the new route the parade is dictating," Krewe Captain Bob Carnesi told WWL TV. "We decided the best thing to do was to cease operations."
Carnesi says that he was starting to lose members and couldn't keep the quality he wanted.
Caesar had been parading for four decades in Jefferson Parish.
