An autopsy is set for today on three murder victims recovered from a Westbank home on Wednesday. One man is in custody and Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto says the suspect confessed.
Deputies found the bodies of one adult woman and two children in the home in the 900 block of Montery Court West in Terrytown. Two other children were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
"We were all joking and stuff last night, and we were going to ride horses today," said Emmett Rhodes Wednesday, who told WWL-TV he is the father and grandfather of the three murder victims. "I'm hurting right now."
Lopinto said the victims appeared to have suffered blunt trauma. Authorities have not released the name of the suspect, nor have they discussed possible motive
