More steamy, hot weater again for Monday. There is a very slight chance for a spotty shower.
We'll keep an eye on Invest 91 in the Bay of Campeche.
"Right now it is just a broad area of low pressure," said WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin. "The National Hurricane Center is giving it a medium chance of development in the next couple of days as it drifts west-northwest into Mexico. This is not expected to get close to our part of the Gulf Coast and is no threat to us. Instead it will bring some rain to eastern Mexico in the next few days. If it does develop, its name would be Barry and it would likely be a short-lived storm since it is heading into land."
