Jefferson Parish Sheriff's investigators are working a morning murder in Metairie.
Sheriff Joseph Lopinto's office reports around 8:50 am, deputies responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment building on Clearview Parkway south of Napoleon Avenue.
Upon arrival, deputies located a shooting victim in the doorway of an apartment.
The victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say there is no suspect or motive for the crime known at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers.
