Navy Blue Angels to fly over New Orleans for "America Strong"

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds will fly over several American cities in the coming days as a display of solidarity and gratitude to medical workers who have been on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The air shows the two flight demonstration teams usually perform in have largely been cancelled by the pandemic. 

The first of the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds "America Strong" flights will be April 28 over New Yorkw, Newark, Trenton, and Philadelphia.

A New Orleans flyover is on the schedule according to USA Today, but a date has not been announced.
