After some wild swings in our weather, things calm down this week. After a Sunday with just a few showers, mostly south of the city, the weather gets pretty stable the next seven days.
"We are beginning to dry out," WWL-TV Meteorologist Chris Franklin said. "High clouds likely tomorrow, but more sunshine and mostly sunny skies through all of next week and into the weekend."
He says cool high pressure will dominate the area.
"A weak, reinforcing upper pattern will keep the Gulf moisture well to our south for the next 7 days! It's the luck of the Irish!"
