St. Patrick's Day will be cool and dry, if cloudy for most of the day, and the weather is expected to remain on the cool side as we wrap up winter this week.
"We should begin to see some sun at times tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day with highs a tad warmer in around 62°," said WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin, "but still below the normal high of 72°."
Spring begins Wednesday and the forecast for the end of winter looks favorable.
"Gorgeous weather for next week. We may still have some lingering high clouds on Monday, but an upper trough will finally help usher in more sunshine through the week. High temps slowly return to normal by the end of the week with low humidity through next weekend!"
