An Arctic cold front moving through today dropped cold rain and is dropping temperatures.
Any snowfall stayed in North Louisiana and north of the Louisiana/Mississippi state line in Southeast Louisiana.
"The rain will end by late-morning and then we will have plenty of sunshine with strong north winds around 15-25 mph," according to WWL-TV Meteorologist Dave Nussbaum. "High temperatures will only rebound into the mid 40s, but it will feel like the 30s. Keep the heavy coat with you all day!"
He says, however, that clouds will be building back in overnight, and this may prevent us from getting that cold.
"Wednesday will be partly cloudy, chilly and dry as high pressure sits over us. Highs will be around 50."
Thursday we get back into the 60s.
