New Orleans firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in the St. Claude neighborhood on Wednesday.
An NOFD report says it happened about 1:00 a.m. at a home near the corner of N. Claiborne Avenue and Feliciana Street. When firefighters arrived on the scene the home was completely engulfed in flames and had spread to the house nextdoor.
A second alarm was called in, 13 NOFD units and 39 firefighters responded and quickly got the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and there were no injuries reported.
