The New Orleans Police Department today announced the indictment and arrest of three suspect in the murder of Theodore Jones, a hip-hop artist known as Young Greatness. Jones was shot to death outside a Waffle House in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields early in the morning of October 29, 2018.
Police say they identified two men and a juvenile as suspects, and a grand jury returned indictments of second degree murder on all three of them Wednesday.
Also yesterday, police found 18-year-old Donny Maxwell in Algiers and arrested him.
The indicted juvenile was already in custody on an unrelated charge.
In addition to second degree murder, the trio is also charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy to obstruct justice. Reaux is also charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
